How to Draw and Design Characters: Focus on Hands, Feet, Paws & Claws

We asked: What do you wish you knew how to draw better?
And the common answer was: hands!

Hands are notoriously tricky to draw. But after years of designing, drawing, and animating characters, art instructor Olive May has mastered it!

And not all creatures have hands - so let’s learn to draw claws, paws, and feet too. Of course this will include some animal drawing, perhaps even a dragon or two!

This is a great class for teens looking to improve their drawing skills. A great fit for someone interested in anime, fantasy, and comics.

This class will be taught by Olive May who has been working full-time as a professional animator in Toronto for the last 14 years and has worked for companies such as Nelvana and Guru, and on shows such as Paw Patrol, Cat in the Hat, Hero Elementary, and more. This is a great opportunity for your teen to work with a professional from the animation industry right here in downtown Orangeville at the Maggiolly Art Studio.
