In this course, work with either oils or acrylics to create a beautiful rendition of this “Fields of Gold” painting with award-winning Canadian artist Michele Van Maurik.

Regarded as a master of light, Michele breaks the painting process down into an approachable, step by step method which makes painting fun and easy for artists of any skill level.

Learn about blending, colour, perspective, texture, and more as you create your very own landscape painting in our bright studio space.

Students are responsible for their own art materials.

Brushes: bristle filberts several size 4, 6
Simply Simmons synthetic round 2, 3
Palette knife for mixing
Q-tips ( for blending and mixing)

If using Oils:
Odourless mineral spirits or Safflower oil for cleaning out brushes
Murphys oil soap or brush soap
Grey Pallet paper

If using Acrylics:
Stay wet pallet
Retarder
